HIV/AIDS positive kids in daycare?

HIV/AIDS positive kids in daycare?

I’m a little worried about this since I want to be putting my son in daycare in a few months, once I start working, and I was just wondering how they keep HIV/AIDS positive kids from infecting other children. Now I understand that HIV/AIDS is not transmitted through casual contact, but say an HIV positive child gets a cut and bleeds on a toy or an object and then another child comes along who doesn’t have the illness and puts that toy or object in his mouth, or get the blood into a cut he has? Isn’t that a chancey situation that they are putting the children in?

Come on, I’m serious, I realize that there are people we encounter daily who are probably infected, but a child is even more risky because they have no understanding of viruses and germs and how they are spread.
