Kate Grossman, MD

Medical Director

A board-certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Kate Grossman joined About.com in September 2006 as Medical Director. She oversees About.com's medical review board, comprised of physicians from prominent medical institutions who review content for medical accuracy. In addition, she serves as the in-house medical consultant for the shaping of About.com Health and its properties.

Dr. Grossman has worked as an advocate for women's health issues, and has a particular interest in educating and empowering patients through better communication of quality medical expertise.

Dr. Grossman graduated with distinction from Stanford University with a degree in human biology, and received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center.
