What Does AIDS Stand For
AIDS destroys all cells in our body and as such is much more difficult form of the disease than HIV infection is. HIV tend to destroy a large number of cells, our body gets very weak and is not prepared to defend itself from such a diseases. AIDS infection can invade our body because it is not ready to defend itself even from the common cold for quite a long time, which leads to getting problems with even more dangerous and complicate diseases.
This illness is sexually transmitted, and as such can be transmitted through sexual intercourse, no matter what kind of sexual relations was done. Even though this is the most common way to transmit it, there are numerous other ones. Our immune system helps us in defending ourselves from many types of conditions that exist today, but AIDS is requires our body to make it through really long fight against this it.
Some people can live up to 15 years or more with the Aids infection and there isn't exquisite rule for that, knowing it really depends on many factors. When your body gets attacked by an ordinary virus which you have had several times before, that happens when your immune system is not strong enough to successfully defend this type of infection. AIDS attacks and destroys the cells for which there is no possibility that these cells can get cured. In ordinary conditions those cells would be easy to cure for a very short time (i.e. ordinary cold), however in Aids conditions that is not the case.
