Can I have unsafe sex with an HIV+ partner and not get HIV?"

Can I have unsafe sex with an HIV+ partner and not get HIV?"
The world is filled with risk takers. HIV transmission is always a risk when having unsafe sex. Yet I always get these types of questions.
"Can I have unsafe sex with an HIV+ partner and not get HIV?"
Answer:
While it is true you can get lucky and not get HIV infected after unprotected sex, the smarter and safer thing to do is to use a condom each and every time you have anal, oral or vaginal sexual contact. Having unprotected sex with an HIV infected person does not necessarily mean you will be infected, but is the risk worth it? It only takes one time. Once infected, always infected. Use a condom each and every time.
